- This is a WALK-IN Employment Fair; no prior online registration or application is required
- Candidates must directly report to the venue on 04 February 2026 between 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM with all original documents and photocopies
- Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will NOT be allowed to participate in the selection process
- It is advisable to reach the venue by 07:30 AM to complete any preliminary registration/token distribution
- The employment fair and selection process will be conducted on the same day (04 February 2026)
- Candidates should keep the entire day free as the process may extend till evening depending on the number of applicants
- No TA/DA or any allowance will be paid for attending the employment fair; candidates must bear their own travel and accommodation expenses
- By Air: Nearest airport is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (approximately 180 km from Malanjkhand). From Nagpur, hire taxi or take bus to Balaghat/Malanjkhand.
- By Rail: Nearest railway station is Gondia Junction (approximately 90 km from Malanjkhand) or Balaghat Railway Station (approximately 30 km from Malanjkhand). From railway station, local buses, shared autos, and taxis are available to Malanjkhand.
- By Road: Malanjkhand is well-connected by road. Regular bus services available from Balaghat, Gondia, Nagpur, Jabalpur, and nearby towns. State Transport and private buses ply frequently.

- This is a walk-in Employment Fair, so candidates can directly attend with their documents without any prior online application or fee payment

- Stipend will be paid monthly through direct bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to the apprentice's Savings Bank Account
- Apprentices must open a bank account (preferably in State Bank of India or any nationalized bank) and submit account details at the time of joining
- Payment will be processed by the 7th of every month for the previous month
- Stipend payment is subject to satisfactory performance, regular attendance, and compliance with HCL training program rules
- No stipend will be paid for unauthorized absence or leave without prior approval
- Stipend may be revised as per Directorate General of Training (DGT) guidelines or HCL policy amendments during the training period
- In case of premature termination of training due to disciplinary reasons or voluntary withdrawal, proportionate stipend will be calculated and paid up to the date of exit
- For months where apprentice joins mid-month or takes long leave, stipend will be calculated on pro-rata basis
- Formula: (Monthly Stipend ÷ Total days in month) × Number of days actually present and trained
- Deductions will be made for unauthorized absence exceeding permissible limits
- All apprentices will be covered under the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Scheme as per provisions of the ESI Act, 1948
- Medical treatment for self and dependent family members at ESI hospitals/dispensaries
- Sickness benefit, maternity benefit (for female apprentices), disablement benefit, and dependent benefit in case of unfortunate incidents
- ESI contribution will be deducted from stipend as per prevailing rates (approximately 0.75% of stipend)
- Comprehensive insurance coverage for accidents that may occur during training within HCL premises or while performing assigned duties
- Insurance claim process as per HCL policy and insurance company terms
- Free provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety helmet, safety shoes, hand gloves, dust masks, goggles, ear plugs, and reflective jackets as required for the trade and work environment
- Apprentices must wear all safety equipment mandatorily while on duty
- Replacement of worn-out or damaged PPE will be provided by HCL
- Access to training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation
- Use of workshop tools, machinery, and equipment under supervision for practical training
- Classroom training sessions conducted by experienced engineers and supervisors
- Subsidized canteen facilities available at Malanjkhand Copper Project for meals during working hours
- Canteen charges will be deducted from stipend or paid separately as per HCL policy
- Depending on the location and availability, HCL may provide company transport for apprentices from nearby towns to the project site
- Transport facilities are subject to availability and operational requirements
- Accommodation: No hostel or residential quarters will be provided to apprentices. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation in Balaghat or nearby areas.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): No separate HRA or accommodation allowance is payable over and above the stipend.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA for daily commute from residence to workplace.
- Provident Fund (PF): Apprentices are not eligible for EPF/Pension benefits as apprenticeship is NOT regular employment.
- Gratuity: Not applicable for apprenticeship training.
- Leave Encashment: Leave, if not availed, cannot be encashed.
- Festival Bonus / Incentives: No performance bonus, Diwali bonus, or other monetary incentives beyond stipend.
- Apprentices are entitled to leave as per the Apprentices Rules and HCL policy
- Casual Leave: Limited casual leave days per month (typically 1-1.5 days per month) for emergencies and personal work
- Sick Leave: Medical leave with prior intimation and medical certificate for illnesses exceeding 3 days
- National Holidays: All gazetted national holidays and HCL declared holidays will be observed
- No leave is permissible during the initial training/induction period unless for extreme medical emergencies
- Unauthorized absence may lead to termination of apprenticeship
- Upon successful completion of one year apprenticeship training, apprentices will be awarded National Apprenticeship Certificate issued under the Apprentices Act, 1961
- This certificate is recognized by all Government and Private sector organizations across India
- Certificate significantly enhances employability and is often a prerequisite for technical jobs in industries
- However, completion of apprenticeship does NOT automatically guarantee regular employment or absorption in Hindustan Copper Limited
- No assurance or promise of permanent job should be assumed or expected
- Apprenticeship is purely a skill development and training program
- HCL may consider former apprentices for future regular recruitment drives if vacancies arise, but this is not guaranteed

- Date of Birth as recorded in the 10th Standard Certificate or Birth Certificate issued by competent Municipal Authority will be considered as proof of age
- No subsequent request for change in Date of Birth will be entertained under any circumstances
- Candidates must calculate their age carefully before appearing at the Employment Fair
- Age proof (10th certificate or birth certificate) must be submitted at the time of document verification
- Candidates exceeding the maximum age limit (even by a single day) will not be considered eligible
- Minimum age of 18 years is mandatory as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, and mining safety regulations
- Candidates below 18 years of age will NOT be allowed to participate in the selection process
- OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued in the financial year 2025-26 to avail age relaxation
- OBC candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer will be treated as General category candidates without any age relaxation
- SC/ST candidates must submit valid caste certificate issued by competent revenue authority (not below the rank of Tahsildar/SDM)
- PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates must submit disability certificate issued by a competent medical board constituted by the Central/State Government showing minimum 40% disability
- Types of disabilities covered: Locomotor disability, Visual impairment, Hearing impairment, and other disabilities as per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
- Ex-Servicemen candidates must submit discharge certificate and details of military service rendered
- Cumulative age relaxation will be provided where applicable (e.g., SC candidate with disability will get 5+10=15 years relaxation)
