Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU), Punjab, in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab, has launched an ambitious public health initiative called "CM Di Yogshala" (Chief Minister's Yoga Schools). Under this transformative program, the university has announced a massive recruitment drive for 1000 Trainer (Yoga) positions across Punjab. This recruitment represents one of the largest yoga trainer hiring campaigns in India and reflects the state government's commitment to promoting holistic health, wellness, and traditional Indian healthcare practices among citizens.

The CM Di Yogshala project aims to establish yoga training centers in villages, towns, and cities throughout Punjab, making yoga accessible to people from all walks of life. These yoga trainers will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness about the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga, conducting regular yoga sessions for community members, organizing yoga awareness camps, and contributing to the overall wellness ecosystem of Punjab. This initiative aligns with the National Health Policy and the government's vision of preventive healthcare.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis with an attractive fixed monthly salary of Rs. 25,000. The contract will initially be for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance evaluation and program requirements. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for certified yoga professionals, yoga enthusiasts, and those passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles to build a meaningful career while serving society. The positions are open to both male and female candidates from across India, though preference may be given to domiciles of Punjab.

The application process is flexible, allowing candidates to apply either online via email or offline through postal submission. This dual-mode application system ensures that candidates from rural and urban areas can participate equally in this recruitment drive. With just a 10+2 qualification and a one-year diploma in yoga, eligible candidates can embark on a rewarding career path in the growing wellness sector. The program will cover all 23 districts of Punjab, bringing yoga to every corner of the state.
