Age Limit Criteria (as on 31-12-2025)
Age Limit for All Posts:
- For Unreserved (UR) / General Category Candidates:
- Maximum Age: 40 years as on 31st December 2025
- Candidates born on or after 1st January 1986 are eligible
- For Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates:
- Maximum Age: 45 years as on 31st December 2025
- Age relaxation of 5 years is provided
- SC/ST candidates born on or after 1st January 1981 are eligible
Age Calculation Method:
- Age will be calculated as on 31st December 2025
- This is the cut-off date mentioned in the notification
- Candidates must not have exceeded the maximum age limit on this reference date
- Date of birth as recorded in Matriculation/SSC Certificate will be considered final
- No subsequent request for change in date of birth will be entertained

Important Instructions Regarding Age:
- Candidates claiming age relaxation under SC/ST category must submit valid Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Tripura Government
- Caste certificates from other states will not be accepted for claiming relaxation
- Age once mentioned in the application cannot be changed at later stage
- Candidates exceeding age limit even after relaxation will be rejected
- Overage candidates need not apply as applications will be summarily rejected
