Employment Duration and Contract Terms
The appointment is temporary and co-terminus with the project duration or one year from the date of joining, whichever comes earlier. There is no provision for extension beyond the project period, and the appointment does not confer any right to claim regular employment or absorption in Tezpur University. The contract may be terminated with one month's notice by either party or by payment of one month's salary in lieu of notice. Performance will be reviewed periodically, and continuation depends on satisfactory work output and conduct.
