Age Limit for UP Anganwadi Worker Recruitment 2026

Age Calculation Date: The candidate's age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025 as per UP government rules for ICDS recruitment.

Cumulative Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST-PwD candidates: Maximum 15 years (5 years SC/ST + 10 years PwD)
• OBC-PwD candidates: Maximum 13 years (3 years OBC + 10 years PwD)
• Women candidates already receive general relaxation; no additional relaxation on the basis of gender

Documents Required for Age Proof:

• High School (10th) certificate or mark sheet showing date of birth
• The date of birth registered in 10th certificate will be considered final and binding
• No subsequent request for change in date of birth will be entertained under any circumstances

• For SC/ST: Valid caste certificate issued by competent authority (Tehsildar or above) of UP
• For OBC: Valid OBC certificate (Non-Creamy Layer) for current year issued by competent authority
• For PwD: Disability certificate issued by District Medical Board showing minimum 40% disability
• For Widow/Divorced: Death certificate of husband or divorce decree from court
