Important Dates
The official notification was published on 28th February 2026. The Walk-in-Interview for various departments, including CTVS, Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, PMR, Medicine, Paediatrics, and Radiology, is strictly scheduled from 09th March 2026 to 11th March 2026. Candidates are advised to report to the venue early morning.
Application Fee
As per the latest officially released notification by Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, there is absolutely NO application fee required to attend the walk-in interview. Candidates from all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwBD, are completely exempted from paying any examination or application fee.
Age Limit
For the VMMC and SJH Senior Resident Vacancy 2026, the age limit criteria have been strictly defined. The maximum age limit for Unreserved (General) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates is 45 years. For Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 48 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are granted an age relaxation up to 50 years. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will receive age relaxation in accordance with the standard rules of the Government of India.
