Important Instructions for Walk-in Day:

• Punctuality: Candidates must report between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Late arrivals after 11:00 AM will NOT be entertained
• No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be provided for attending the walk-in interview
• Original Documents Mandatory: Candidates without original certificates will not be allowed to attend interview

Age Limit for WBKVIB Recruitment 2026

Age Calculation:

• Candidate age will be calculated as on 25 February 2026 (date of walk-in interview)
• Candidates born on or after 26 February 1963 are eligible (below 63 years)
• Candidates who have crossed 63 years of age are NOT eligible

Rationale for Age Limit:

• The upper age limit of 63 years ensures that relatively younger retirees who have recently superannuated (at age 60 in most government services) can apply
• This allows engaging retired personnel who are still active, energetic, and capable of undertaking field duties and office work effectively
• It provides opportunity for those who retired within last 2-3 years and are looking for meaningful post-retirement engagement

No Age Relaxation:

• Since this recruitment is specifically for retired personnel, no further age relaxation is provided for any category
• The upper age limit of 63 years is fixed and applicable to all candidates regardless of caste, gender, or disability

Physical and Mental Fitness:

• While age limit is 63 years, candidates must be physically fit to:
  • Undertake field visits to districts, blocks, and villages
  • Attend office regularly (minimum 20-25 days per month)
  • Conduct inspections of Khadi centers and production units
  • Coordinate meetings and training programs
• Candidates should be in good health without major ailments that prevent active work
• A self-declaration of fitness may be required at the time of walk-in interview

Age Proof Document:

• Date of Birth as mentioned in Service Book or Pension Payment Order (PPO) will be considered as proof of age
• 10th/Matriculation certificate can also be submitted as age proof
