Important Instructions:

• Application Deadline: Applications must reach DLSA Almora office on or before 25 February 2026 by 5:00 PM
• Late Applications: Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances
• Walk-in Interview: Only eligible candidates (as per scrutiny) will be called for walk-in interview
• Interview Call: Eligible candidates must check the notice board and DLSA website for their names; individual call letters may not be sent
• Interview Attendance: Candidates must report at the interview venue on 17 March 2026 between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with all original documents
• No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be provided for attending the interview
• Result Declaration: Final selection list will be displayed on DLSA notice board, district court website, and almora.dcourts.gov.in

Age Limit for DLSA Almora PLV Recruitment 2026

Age Calculation Date: Candidate's age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026 as per NALSA guidelines.

Additional Age Relaxation:

• Women candidates of all categories: Additional 5 years relaxation beyond the prescribed upper age limit
• Uttarakhand domicile: 5 years additional relaxation as per state policy (cumulative with category relaxation)
• PwD + SC/ST: Maximum cumulative relaxation up to 15 years (10 years PwD + 5 years SC/ST)

Documents Required for Age Proof:

• High School (10th) certificate showing Date of Birth issued by recognized Board
• Date of Birth mentioned in 10th certificate will be considered final and conclusive
• No subsequent change in Date of Birth will be accepted under any circumstances

Documents for Age Relaxation Claims:

• SC/ST: Valid caste certificate issued by Tehsildar or competent authority of Uttarakhand
• OBC: OBC certificate (Non-Creamy Layer) issued by competent authority valid for current year
• PwD: Disability certificate issued by District Medical Board showing minimum 40% disability
• Widows/Divorced: Death certificate of husband or divorce decree from competent court
• Ex-Servicemen: Discharge certificate and service record

Note: The upper age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the District Judge/DLSA Chairman for exceptionally qualified candidates with significant experience in legal aid, social work, or community service.
