The teaching positions cover diverse departments including English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Commerce, Economics, Political Science, History, Sociology, Geography, Computer Science, Education, Physical Education, Law, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and several others. Selected faculty members will receive attractive salary packages as per the 7th Pay Commission pay scales ranging from Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month (depending on position and experience) along with allowances including HRA (24% for Almora), DA (as applicable), Transport Allowance, and other benefits as per Uttarakhand government rules.
