Age Relaxation as per Government of India Guidelines:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per defence service period plus 3 years (Special preference given)
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBD)
- Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated: 10 years relaxation (up to age 50)
- Cumulative age relaxation applicable where multiple categories overlap
Special Note: Ex-servicemen candidates and their dependents will be given preference in selection as per ECHS mandate and Government of India policy.
