Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 02-01-2004 and 02-07-2007 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit at the time of enrolment: 21 years.
Educational Qualification
10+2 (Intermediate) with required subjects or 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering disciplines, as per official notification.
Physical Standards
Height: Male – minimum 152.5 cm; Female – minimum 152 cm (relaxation for candidates from North East / hilly regions and Lakshadweep as per rules). Weight: Proportionate to height and age. Chest: For male candidates – minimum chest 77 cm with at least 5 cm expansion; for female candidates chest well proportioned with minimum 5 cm expansion. Hearing: Normal hearing – able to hear forced whisper from 6 m distance in each ear separately. Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth with minimum 14 dental points.
Visual Standards
Visual acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye. Maximum refractive error: Hypermetropia +2.0 D, Myopia -1.0 D including ±0.50 D astigmatism. Colour vision: CP-II.
