• As per TG TET rules there is generally no upper age limit for appearing in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates must fulfil all educational and other eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification.

• For TG TET Paper I (Classes I to V): Intermediate or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum prescribed percentage and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education or 2 year Diploma in Education Special Education as per guidelines.

OR

• Intermediate or Senior Secondary with minimum required marks for reserved categories as per relaxation and with required teacher training qualification in elementary education.

• For TG TET Paper II (Classes VI to VIII): Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce or relevant discipline with minimum prescribed marks along with B.Ed or B.Ed Special Education as per norms.

OR

• Four year B.A.Ed or B.Sc.Ed with minimum prescribed marks for general and reserved categories.
