Online application registration opened on 23rd January 2026 at 17:00 hours (5:00 PM). The last date for submission of online applications is 23rd February 2026 at 11:00 hours (11:00 AM). Payment of application fee, if applicable, must be completed by the closing date. Candidates are strongly advised to complete and submit their online applications well in advance of the closing date to avoid last-minute rush and technical difficulties. The APPSC will not be responsible for any failure in submission of application due to internet connectivity issues, server problems, or any other technical reasons on the part of candidates. No application will be accepted after the closing date and time under any circumstances whatsoever.

Application fee details are as per APPSC norms. For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the application fee is as prescribed in the official notification (typically ranging from Rs. 150 to Rs. 200). For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) categories, full exemption from application fee is generally provided. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are also exempted from payment of application fee. The application fee payment can be made online through multiple payment modes including Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. Candidates are advised to verify the exact fee amount from the official notification before making payment.

The upper age limit for different categories is as follows: For General (Unreserved) candidates, the maximum age is 30 years as on the closing date of online application. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates (other than APST), the maximum age is 35 years. For candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribes (APST), the maximum age is 37 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is admissible for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), age relaxation of 10 years is admissible over and above the age applicable to their respective categories. For candidates who have rendered not less than 5 years continuous service in the Central Government or State Government, upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years. Age is calculated as on the closing date of submission of online application i.e., 23rd February 2026 at 11:00 hours. Candidates claiming age relaxation must produce valid certificates issued by competent authority at the time of document verification.
